The Spirit Animal is easily adjusted, where rolling the Clarity dial clockwise will introduce more clean signal into the mix and rolling the dial counterclockwise will drench the signal in distortion. Turn Clarity all the way clockwise and get a clean buffer with no distortion – counterclockwise for full dirt. Your Gain knob accentuates the sharpness and brightness of the distortion from bright and spikey clockwise and dark and fuzzy counterclockwise.
