This 1973 Jazz Bass came to our Philadelphia shop from the original owner who purchased it new in the 70's in Philadelphia, gigged with it, and recently retired. The instrument has been gigged extensively and there is plenty of evidence of that. The frets are relatively low but still have life left for some time before a refret is mandatory. Our in-house technician also rewound the pickups to get them back to fully working order. It is not as much of a backbreaker as its contemporaries, coming in just under 10lbs. This is an incredibly cool bass with plenty of vibe if you are looking for the 70's Queen/Rush sound.

Good condition with dings and dents throughout the body and neck. There are some on the back of the neck that are noticeable by your thumb but do not interfere with playing.
